They have distracted the general population with what the ancient Romans called “bread and circus.” By making sure we had food in our bellies and entertainment on our tv sets, we have been lulled into complacency, so they can work behind our backs, in secret, to force us into slavery. Fat and happy people, as a general rule, do not riot and rebel against their captors.
